PETER ASKWITH
Peter has been the owner and Managing Director of Askwith Safe Company since 1997, bringing over 30 years of industry experience to the business. With a background as a cabinet maker and seasoned business owner, Peter has a strong understanding of the practical and technical considerations involved in safely and securely installing safes in both residential and commercial environments.
His extensive knowledge spans a wide range of safe products and security solutions, allowing him to provide tailored advice to meet each customer’s specific requirements. Peter takes a hands-on approach to the business and values the opportunity to work directly with clients, ensuring they receive the right solution backed by trusted expertise.
As the driving force behind the company, Peter has built a reputation for quality, reliability, and personalised service. He is also proud to lead a family-oriented business that reflects strong values and long-term commitment to its customers.
Outside of work, Peter enjoys boating and has been a member of the South Perth Yacht Club for over 20 years. A dedicated family man, he spends much of his free time on the water with family and friends.
RICHARD ASKWITH
Richard is a highly experienced SCEC-endorsed locksmith with over 30 years in the security industry. He specialises in managing and servicing complex, high-security SCEC-approved contracts, bringing a deep level of technical expertise and precision to every project.
Known for his thorough approach and problem-solving ability, Richard plays a critical role in delivering trusted, compliant security solutions for clients with specialised requirements. His extensive industry knowledge and commitment to high standards make him a valuable asset to both the team and customers.
As Peter Askwith’s brother, Richard is an important part of the family-driven culture at Askwith Safe Company, contributing to its strong values and long-standing reputation. Outside of work, he is a passionate West Coast Eagles supporter, sharing his enthusiasm for the game with the same dedication he brings to his profession.
MARK ASKWITH
Mark is an experienced SCEC-approved locksmith and safe installer with over 15 years of service at Askwith Safe Company. Throughout his tenure, he has developed extensive expertise in the installation, maintenance, and servicing of a wide range of security products and systems.
In addition to his hands-on technical work, Mark plays a key role in providing customers with reliable technical support and practical guidance, ensuring solutions are both effective and tailored to individual requirements. His strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards contribute to the company’s reputation for quality and professionalism.
As the son of company founder Peter Askwith, Mark continues a family tradition within the business, bringing both dedication and a strong sense of responsibility to his role. Outside of work, he is a qualified fitness instructor and maintains an active lifestyle, regularly spending time training at the gym.
HEATHER ASKWITH
Heather has been a key member of Askwith Safe Company since 2005, managing all accounts and administrative operations with a high level of accuracy and professionalism. Her attention to detail and strong organisational skills ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the business, supporting both the team and customers alike.
Heather plays an essential role in maintaining efficient financial processes and delivering a seamless customer experience, contributing to the company’s strong reputation for reliability and service. As the wife of founder Peter Askwith, she brings a deep commitment and personal investment to the continued success of the family business.
Outside of work, Heather enjoys boating and spending quality time with her family, especially with her grandchildren.
SHAUN CALVIN
Shaun is a valued member of the Askwith Safe Company team, bringing over 10 years of industry experience to his role. He specialises in the installation, servicing, and maintenance of safes and security systems, ensuring every project is completed with precision and care.
Shaun is also a trusted point of contact for customers, providing clear and practical technical support to help them select and maintain the right security solutions for their needs. His reliable approach, strong work ethic, and commitment to customer satisfaction make him an integral part of the team.
Outside of work, Shaun enjoys spending quality time with his family, maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
CAMERON HAMENCE
Cameron has been a valued member of the Askwith Safe Company team for the past three years, bringing over eight years of experience as a qualified locksmith. He is actively involved in both the sales and servicing of safes, offering customers practical advice and tailored security solutions to meet their individual needs.
Cameron combines strong technical expertise with a hands-on approach, ensuring every installation and service is completed to a high standard. His commitment to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction makes him a trusted and reliable part of the team.
Outside of work, Cameron enjoys riding off-road motorbikes and spending time camping, making the most of the outdoors on weekends.
DALE MURPHY
Dale Murphy has been a valued member of the Askwith Safe Company team for the past two years and is known for his strong work ethic and eagerness to learn. As a developing professional within the industry, he continues to build his knowledge and skills across a range of safe installations and servicing work, contributing positively to the team’s overall performance.
